Cleric, Solomon Alao tasks Tinubu govt. on equity, fairness, inclusivity

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been tasked to surpass whatever the achievements of the Muhammadu Buhari years and not disappoint Nigerians as it takes over the reins of governance of the country.
Supreme Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao, gave the task in a release issued ahead of the inauguration of the new administration.
The clergyman also urged the incoming president not to adopt a winner-takes-all attitude to governance but to form a government of national unity and inclusivity.

Dr. Alao also urged the incoming administration to move to douse the fears of a one-sided eligion leaning in his administration by ensuring that credible and God-fearing Christians take a pride of place in the new administration.
The release read in part, “The incoming president is a man known for his immense wealth of experience in governance which he displayed while he was governor in Lagos State.
“It is up to him now to bring that experience to bear in the governance of the country now that he is at the centre.
“The new President must constitute an all-inclusive government bearing in mind the diverse geographical, religious, and ethnic balancing of the country. He should also do far more in addressing the problem of insecurity and corruption which have refused to go away from our land.”
The clergyman also tasked the in-coming administration to address frontally infrastructural decay especially in the area of roads, power, healthcare and education. He also urged the new government to ensure that equity and fairness are maintained in the sharing of offices especially the leadership of the National Assembly to reflect the religious imbalnce in the country.

He continued, “The incoming President must see to it that allocation of critical offices in his government is done with equity and fairness. He must ensure all sections of the country are brought to the table from the North, East, South and West, Christians and Muslims, to jointly address the multifarious challenges confronting the country.
“The incoming President is fully aware of the latest syndrome of JAPA which now propels our best brains to flee from their fatherland in search of greener pasture. Efforts must be made to bring them back home to help in the rebuilding of our country.”
Alao also urged the new administration to reinvigorate the Armed Forces to be able to drive out of the country bandits and terrorists that are currently scattered across the country.
