All is set for the commencement of action towards the realization of the multi Sports Complex (MSC) project being embarked upon by the old boys association of the College of Immaculate Conception (CIC), Enugu.
A frontline member of the CIC old boys, Benson Ezeomeogo Ejindu who confirmed this in an exclusive chat with The Nigerian Xpress Sports disclosed that the groundbreaking ceremony for the multi million naira project would hold July 5 at the Enugu Campus of the College.
In Ejindu’s words…”get ready for exciting times as we hold the groundbreaking ceremony of the MSC project July 5, 2019.”
The USA based patron of Enugu Rangers pointed out that with the completion of the classrooms renovation work, focus is now shifting to the stadium project which is expected to gulp a whooping N350m.
Ejindu said the project would be done in phases over a three- year period with each old boy expected to dole out a minimum of $1000 (N350,000) every year.
He stressed that the premier donors would however do more…”of course, most of our premier donors will give more than the expected minimum,” Ejindu said.
It would be noted that the last outing of the CIC old boys was the birthday bash of Nnamdi Maduekwe where members also displayed their love for their alma mater.
