The Cherubim & Seraphim Unification church of Nigeria is set to honour Seraph Abiola Adebiyi who was recently awarded by the federal government as the best teacher in Nigeria.
The Chief PRO of the church, Superintendent Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi who communicated the development on Tuesday says the recognition will take place at the quarterly vigil scheduled to hold Friday.
The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through its President’s Teachers and Schools Excellence Award initiative, last week, named Adebiyi who teaches at Varsity Grammar School, Ijebu Ode, Ogun state as the best teacher in Nigeria (Private School Category).
Adebiyi who is a member of C&S Christ The Corner Stone, Ijebu Ode, was also rewarded him with a brand new Hyundai Saloon car.
Meanwhile, Elder Adeyemi said the decision to honour him at the vigil followed a ratification by the National Executive Council (NEC).
The chief PRO also disclosed that this came on the heels of the resolution of the church to recognizing seraphs who are making the fold proud in their respective careers.

His words: “We have many seraphs that our doing fantastically well but their achievements remain unsung. Nobody cares about them. So we deem it a way of celebrating our own. And for Brother Adebiyi, he had on his own part made the church proud with this feat, that is why the church, with the approval of the NEC, thought it needful to honour him.”
“Also, being a development that gives the church a facelift, positive news of this nature will go a long way to dwarfing negative narratives about the fold.
“You will as well agree with me that if we are not celebrating our own, nobody will. So, if we have seraphs that are doing well, we give them due recognition as a way of encouraging our youths”, Elder Adeyemi added.
The quarterly vigil tagged: Restoration Night with the theme “Willing and Obedient” (Isaiah 1v19) will hold at Seraphim Land Km 40 Lagos/Ibadan expressway, Maba, Ogun State.
