But for Buhari, Imo would’ve gone into extinction, says Gov. Uzodimma

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, on Thursday, expressed gratitude over the support given to his state by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.

The governor said that but for the support of the President toward his state, Imo State would have ceased to exist.

Governor Uzodimma said this while being a guest on Channels Television, where he recalled how Imo State was ravaged by banditry, kidnapping and economic hardships.

He said that the quick intervention of the Federal Government salvaged Imo state. “God, FG rescued Imo state”, he said.

Asked if the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would emerge winner in the forth-coming general election, Governor Uzodimma answered in the affirmative, noting that the inauguration of the Second Niger bridge was enough reason for all Igbos to vote for APC. “APC is a party to win in Imo State, quote me anywhere you go,” he concluded.
