Management of Bunubunu Culture and Sporting Company believes its athletes would clinch the major titles at stake when the Okpekpe 10km marathon holds next weekend in Edo State.
Bunubunu Culture and Sporting Company are managers of several top Kenyan and Nigerian runners.
CEO of Bunu Bunu Culture and Sporting Company Limited, Izuchukwu Udegbunam said experience gathered by these athletes would guarantee their success at Okpekpe.
He particularly tipped Joshua Kipkorir, the current champion of Singapore Marathon and Access Bank Lagos City Marathon and Kiboss Ronney, who was 2nd at the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon in 2017 and 2018 as possible winners.

“Both Joshua Kipkorir and Kiboss Ronney Kipkoech are important members of the Bunubunu team. They hold the ace, while Bunubunu is also introducing Biwott Allan Kemboi, who is also a fast rising Kenyan marathoner.
“Our mission is to motivate and guide these quality marathoners. We’re very confident of them after solid preparation. Even our Nigerian elite racers get inspiration from the Kenyans and they’re raring to go too at Okpekpe. They’ve been training in Pankshin and in Mambilla, Plateau state.
“Our coach, who is also the national coach, Nuhu has been doing an excellent job with them through our programme tagged the New Spirit of Africa Athletics Handshake,” he concluded.
