Buhari’s government recruiting repentant Boko Haram -Reno Omokri

An erstwhile aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has said while other countries are recruiting skilled workers to strengthen their economies, the Buhari government is recruiting repentant Boko Haram members.
Omokri said this while reacting to reports of hundreds of Nigerian doctors queuing up in Abuja during a recruitment exercise by Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
“Ignati Asador, who built drones was recruited by Finland. Saudi Arabia is recruiting Nigerian doctors. America and the UK are recruiting our nurses. Meanwhile, the Buhari regime, which placed an embargo on civil service recruitment, is recruiting repentant Boko Haram!,” he said.
The Nigerian Army has refuted claims that it is recruiting repentant insurgents into its services.
The Army spokesman called the report absurd saying there is no iota of truth to the report.
According to him, thousands of Nigerian youths are eager and begging to join the military.
Also, this week report by the UN exposed a robust welfare programme for top repentant Boko Haram members.
The report said the former terrorists are given houses, monthly stipends and have registered businesses.
On Wednesday, photos emerged of Nigerian doctors lining up to register for a recruitment exercise by Saudi Arabia.
This comes as resident doctors in Nigeria embarked on strike to protest poor welfare and bad conditions of service.
On Monday, an Industrial Court ordered the striking doctors to suspend their strike and resume duties.
