President Muhammadu Buhari may have shunned his fiercest rival and former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as the latter clocks 75 years (today) Thursday by refusing the send his usual goodwill message to him.
It was not clear whether the presidential snub was a mere omission or deliberate.
Recall that President Buhari is usually congratulating prominent Nigerians, irrespective of their specialties, on their birthdays.

Interestingly, President Buhari, on Wednesday, celebrated his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, who marked 77 years.
However, Atiku Abubakar, despite the political difference with President Buhari, attended the wedding of the President’s first son, Yusuf, in Bichi, Kano State, last August.
It is still possible that President Buhari’s aides might still push out a statement before the end of the day as 75th birthday is a milestone for any mortal.
