President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State as a member of the Presidential Council on Digital Economy and E-governance.
This was disclosed in a letter signed by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami.
Professor Pantami said the constitution of the presidential council is an effort to implement the National Digital Economy Policy (NDEPS) and the Nigerian E-governance Master Plan (NEGMP).

The minister noted that Nasarawa State is critical to the success of Nigeria’s digital economy agenda.
According to the statement, Governor Sule and other members of the council will be inaugurated by President Buhari, being the chairman of the council, at a later date.
