The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to cancel the suit filed by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) I the February 23, 2019 general elections.
President Buhari, on Tuesday, prayed the Tribunal to strike out the petition filed Atiku challenging re-election on the grounds that it is fundamentally defective, NAN reports.

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal had, on Monday, June 10, dismissed the petition of the Coalition for Change (C4C) against the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23 presidential election.
Counsel to President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC), Wole Olanipekun SAN and Lateef Fagbemi SAN, informed the court that their clients were yet to be served with a copy of the petition.
Olanipekun said at the last adjourned date, the panel had granted an application for substituted service but that up till Monday morning, the petitioners were yet to serve the processes on the first Respondent.
