President Muhammadu Buhari has named Mr. Anamekwe Chukwunyere Nwabuoku to supervise the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
Nwabuoku is to hold fort the position awaiting the outcome of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigation of the suspended AGF, Ahmad Idris.
The development was confirmed, on Sunday, by a former aide to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmed.

Recall that Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Hajia Zainab Ahmed, had suspended Idris, last week, after operatives of the anti-graft agency arrested him for allegedly diverting funds and laundering N80billion.
Bashir Ahmad wrote on Twitter, “Mr. Anamekwe Chukwunyere Nwabuoku has been appointed to oversee the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, pending the outcome of the EFCC investigation of the suspended AGF, Ahmad Idris.”
