The driver that drove the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle conveying 22-year-old Oluwabamise Ayanwole, has confessed all he knows about the kidnap and murder of his passenger.
Ayanwole’s corpse was on Monday discovered on Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community, Lagos Island.

The driver, Andrew Nice, who was later arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Ogun State, and handed over to the Lagos Police Command, has stated his role in the sordid drama.
The police paraded at the Lagos State Command’s headquarters in Ikeja by by the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi.
According to Nice, he picked Ayanwole from Chevron and three other guys along the way but claimed the three passengers showed him their guns and told him to co-operate.
He added that he lost composure thereafter did whatever they ordered him to do.
The assailants ordered him to stop and open the door of the bus on getting to Carter bridge whereupon they dragged Ayanwole along with them.
He explained that he was helpless and could do nothing, as Ayanwole was crying for help.
Nice said instead of reporting the incident to the police, he ran away of fear.

“I picked her from Chevron, and the other three guys at …when those guys show me his weapon as I was inside, I can’t be myself anymore,” Nice disclosed.
“Fears have come in, so, whatever the man with the gun told me, I do. I followed that Carter Bridge, that overhead bridge, they ordered me to stop there, they say I should open the door, when I open the door, then when they come down, they now start dragging her, when I saw that she was crying for help, actually, I was helpless.” (sic)
