The Lagos Taskforce on Wednesday paraded four suspects in connection with the August 13 attack on a BRT bus.
The bus which was enroute Lagos-Badagry Expressway was attacked by hoodlums who robbed passengers of their belongings. The attack generated outcry from Lagosians who began to question the safety measures put in place by the government on the BRT corridor.
While parading the suspects at the taskforce office, Oshodi, the Chairman of the taskforce, Adetayo Akerele, said the police swung into action the following day of the incident and arrested one 30-year old Muhammed Alli who later mentioned three others leading to their arrest.
He said the police were on the trail of other suspects who were at large.
Akerele promised the police would continue to protect the lives of the citizens and ensure hoodlums were brought into book.
He said the suspects would soon be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigation.
