Yahaya Bello, the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, who has been in a hide and seek game with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over alleged misappropriation of funds has for the second time presented himself to the anti-graft agency.
He was in company with his lawyers when he arrived at the EFCC office on Tuesday morning.
Bello, who has been evading the EFCC might have been prodded to honour his long standing invitation, following the dismissal of the suit, challenging the establishment of the EFCC.
Some state governments, including Kogi, had challenged the legality of the existence of the anti-graft agency but the apex court threw out their suit, affirming that the creation of EFCC was constitutional.
Bello who drove himself in a black Toyota Hilux to the EFCC office went with a team of his lawyers.
The EFCC had, at the last hearing on November 14, requested for adjournment till November 27 in the fresh case it instituted against the former governor.
