One of the presidential aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi, may have dumped the party.
Mr. Obi reportedly resigned his membership of the the main opposition party barely three days to its national convention.

Although details of the development are still to unveil, his resignation may not be unconnected to the decision of the party to throw the contest for its presidential flag bearer open against the gentleman power rotation gentleman agreement between the North and the South.
