Officers from the Department of State Services, DSS, have stormed the Abuja office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP.
According to a post on SERAP’s X account, the officers requested to see the rights group’s directors.
“Officers from Nigeria’s State Security Service (SSS) are presently unlawfully occupying SERAP’s office in Abuja, asking to see our directors.
“President Tinubu must immediately direct the SSS to end the harassment, intimidation, and attack on the rights of Nigerians,’ the post read.
The latest incident is coming few minutes after the security agents arrested NLC President, Joe Ajaero at the Abuja airport.
SERAP had last week given President Bola Tinubu 48 hours to revert the hike in petrol price failure of which it threatened to drag the federal government to court
