President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, sacked, with immediate effect, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu as Inspector General of Police.
In his stead, the president has appointed Usman Alkali Baba as the new acting IGP.
Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, disclosed the president’s directive to state house correspondents at the presidential villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
