Eldest daughter of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Rev. (Mrs.) Omotola Oyediran, is dead.
Until her death, Mrs. Oyediran was one of the two remaining children of Chief Awolowo.

Family sources disclosed that Mrs. Oyediran, who was wife to renowned academician and a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Prof. Kayode Oyediran, died peacefully at her home, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Her death now means that Pa Awolowo’s only surviving child is Amb. Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu.
