Bayelsa West PDP Senatorial, Reps candidates take rally to riverine communities

Three weeks to the February general elections, the Bayelsa West senatorial district campaign rally  of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was at the riverine community of Agoro in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Weekend, where various candidates of the Party urged electorate them to vote for PDP in the forthcoming Presidential and national and state Assembly elections.

Speaking at the rally, Chief Fred Agbedi, candidate for the House of Representatives enjoined Agoro community and Ekeremor council as  a whole to vote for the PDP.

Agbedi, a native of Agoro community, noted that their previous votes for the PDP government had brought a lot of developmental projects to the area and that that would continue again when they vote for the Party in the coming elections.

“This is a PDP area, and the PDP government has provided various infrastructural projects in this area.

” We drove by road to Ekeremor and we have promised to drive to the sea by road . PDP will do it as you vote for the PDP” noted Agbedi who enjoined eligible voters to vote for PDP in the elections without fear of intimidation.

“Vote for the PDP without fear of intimidation by desperate politicians. This is a PDP area, vote the way you have been voting for the PDP”, he added.

Also speaking at the rally, Sen. Seriake Dickson, the candidate for the West senatorial  district in the elections expressed gratitude for the massive support from the area.

Sen. Dickson, who was represented by Chief Victor Okubonanabo, also urged them to vote PDP in the forthcoming elections, saying the Party had given them a lot of dividends of Democracy in terms of roads and other infrastructure.

“Vote the way you have been voting for PDP.

“In about 20 days time as you go to the polls, vote the umbrella sign which is PDP, for the President”.

In his remarks, Chief Fineman Wilson, the Director General of the PDP West Senatorial Campaign Council urged the people of  Agoro community and  Ekeremor council in general to vote PDP and not any other party  considering the massive infrastructural projects   the PDP brought to  the area  over the years .

“The  PDP goverment has given you road project that will get to Agge by the sea. The former governor started it and now the current Douye Diri -led prosperity government is continuing with it to Agoro here”, noted Wilson who also commended them for their massive support.

Others at the rally included the Vice Chairman of the PDP West Senatorial Campaign Rally, Micheal Magbesa,  Micheal Ogbere  Ekeremor Constituency 3 Assembly candidate.

Also present at the rally were the Commissioner for Trade and Productivity in the state, Stanley Bramboke, Lucky Yobua, Lucky Asanakpo, amongst others.

Women and youth groups were not left out as they danced to the music provided by a  famous Ijaw music Icon.
