Decrying the current low level of activities in virtually every facet of human endeavour in the state , and liking it to ‘a state in crisis situation’, Eradiri, who was a one time in the state noted that it was not what Party that is ruling but who can bring back the state to survival level.
“Bayelsa State is in comatose; it is in crisis. It is no longer about Party but survival of the state,” he said.
Eradiri also said the Labour Party has come up with four point agenda called the PEAP Agenda which is an acronym for People, Education, Agriculture and Power aimed as reviving the state back to its lost glory.
“When we talk about issues in Bayelsa state, I have seen the nakedness of neglect of the institutions that should reach out to the people.
“And that is why I said until we take the leadership we will not get things done.
“I brought value within the short period. I am coming with political will to get things done. That is why our agenda first is the people.

He also explained various technics that can be used to end the menace.
“It is so easy to do,we can control flood in Yenagoa
“We only increase the canals and buy those pumps and block out the water from any source that it will come from. No body is taking.action to check the annual flood that is ravaging the state, yet Ecological Funds meant for ecological problems enters the state.
“That is why Bayelsa State is a laughing stock among the committee of states, the poorest states in Nigeria, Bayelsa is number two, have you heard?
