The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially announced results from three LGAs with PDP leading.
The Local Goverment Areas include Kolokuma/Opokuma, Ogbia and Yenagoa.
The Peoples Democractic Party recorded the highest votes so far.

The results which was announced at the Collation center in INEC headquarters Yenagoa Sunday afternoon by Prof Kuta Farouq, the INEC State Returning Officer for the Bayelsa State governorship polls, who is the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, has :
Kolokuma/Opokuma, which is governor Douye Diri’s home council area had : PDP-18,465 votes ; APC-5, 349 votes .
In Ogbia LGA- PDP had PDP- 18,435 votes, APC had 16319 votes .
While in Yenagoa LGA, PDP had 37, 777 votes , APC had 14, 534 votes.
With results of three local governments collated , five local governments out of the eight are expected .
They include Sagbama, Ekeremor, Southern Ijaw, Nembe and Brass LGAs.
Collation to resume by 3pm .
