Bala Mohammed, Governor of Bauchi State, has floored a former Air Chief, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar to win re-election for another four-year tenure.
The PDP candidate polled 525,280 to beat his closest rival, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 432,272.

Declaring the result, the INEC Returning Officer, Prof Abdulkareem Mohammed, said, “Mohammed Bala Abdulkadir of PDP, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby returned elected.”
