The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo, has said that armed bandits operating in the state will from this week start surrendering their weapons.
This is following the State Government peace deal which proved successful.

According to Daily Trust report, the peace deal, which was coordinated by the CP, had led to the release of those held captives by the bandits.
He added that bandits, on their own were surrendering their weapons as a mark of acceptance of the peace deal.
