Bandits demand N100m ransom to release Kaduna monarch

Abductors of the paramount ruler of the Ham people, Kopp Ham Danladi Gyet Maude of Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State,  have demand N100 million ransom before they would release him.

The kidnappers, suspected to be bandits, have repeatedly contacted the monarch’s family to nake the demand.

The octogenarian was abducted yesterday afternoon while in company with his guards on his farm, along Kwoi-Keffi highway, and
taken to an unknown destination.

However, the spokesperson of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, had given assurance that the command was collaborating with the  Nasarawa Police Command to see that the traditional ruler was rescued from his abductors.
