Director, Chief Executive Office, Nigeria French Language (NFLV), Badagry, Nigeria, Prof. Abdul-Lateef Babatunde Ayeleru, has commended the honourable Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, Executive Secretary, Nigeria University Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Rasheed and others for initiating and nurturing the agreement that led to the announcement of the elevation of three Professors of French Language to full professorship.
The newest Professors, according to a statement personally signed by Ayeleru are, J. A. Adeleke, M.O. Adesola and A. O. Laditan.
Other people commended by Professor Ayeleru are the immediate Director/CEO of the Nigeria French Language Village, Prof Rauf Adebisi, the past and present Governing Councils of NFLV, the former and present VCs of Lagos State University (LASU) Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun (SAN) and Prof Olatunji-Bello respectively and the Governing Council of LASU for initiating and nurturing the agreement.

Concluding, the elated Ayeleru also thanked all Professors of French in Nigerian Universities who participated in the process, adding, “our colleagues and Deans in LASU are also appreciated for their commitment to the process”.
This accomplishment, Ayeleru asserted, “is highly remarkable in the life and for the continuous existence of the Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry.”
