About 100 qualified Aviation Security personnel are being trained by Department of State Services (DSS) to bear arms at airports across the country.
This is as the Federal Government finalises moves to deploy armed Aviation Security personnel across the nation’s airports.

It was also gathered that shooting ranges for the AVSEC officers had been 80 per cent completed at the Lagos and Abuja airports, while the armoury was also being worked on currently.
