Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar said that the death of Iniubong who was found dead and buried in a shallow grave in Akwa Ibom State united Nigerians ‘in a way that was admirable.’

Atiku called on the security agencies to bring her killers to justice.

“Over the past two days, I saw how Iniubong Umoren united Nigerians in a way that was admirable, yet, tragic. This is heart-rending.

“I call on the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to do all within their powers to ensure that justice prevails for her family and all Nigerians. They made great efforts to find Humoren,” Atiku said on Twitter.

There was outrage on social media when it was reported that Iniubong who had gone for a ‘job interview’ on April 29 was found and buried in a shallow grave by Uduak Akpan, her abductor, and killer.
