Aso Villa shooting saga: First Lady’s ADC, Escort Commander, other released

Report says that the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu,  has ordered the release of the security aides to Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Hajia Aisha Buhari.

Their release, which was ordered, on Monday, came four days after they were taken into custody over a shooting incident at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja.

The incident had sparked concern that the President Buhari might be in danger.

The First Lady’s aides were, however, directed to return for further interrogation on Tuesday.

According to him, “All the security aides attached to the First Lady have been released to enable them to go home and refresh. They were released on Monday,  but they are expected to return for investigation on Tuesday.”
