An Army Officer and two other suspects has been arrested by Anambra State Police, over alleged kidnapping.
The names of the suspects were given as Ojiegbe Obinna, Obasi Peter and Benjamin Nicholas. It was gathered that the suspects were all in Military vests.
Spokes man for the Command, SP Haruna Mohammed, said a distress call was made that one Uchenna Ezeonu, was being kidnapped by three persons in Military Uniform, around Isuofia road, in Aguata, Anambra State.

He said the police attached with operation Puff Adder, with Joint Patrol teams, searched the bush path. The three suspects it was learnt were eventually arrested inside the bush, while the victim was rescued.
The Army officer, L/Cpl Ojiegbe Obinna, was deployed to 101 Special Forces Battalion, Maiduguri, Borno State, while the remaining two in military vests were fake soldiers.
