Reports reaching The Nigerian Xpress this afternoon says the Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended the Minister of State Petroleum resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, and David Lyon, the 2019 governorship candidate of the party in the state over what was described as anti party activities.
Also suspended were some of their supporters and few other party members.
It is not clear yet what specific offenses the Minister and the others committed as at the time of going to the press.
Their suspension follows similar actions in the PDP where the former National Chairman and the secretary were suspended for anti party activities.
It is also coming few hours after party members and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State were suspended due to the same act.
