Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hillard Etta, has dismissed claims in some quarters that the party’s National Secretariat, in Abuja, was sealed by security operatuives on Tuesday.
He also declared that there were no factions in the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.
Mr. Etta said this while receiving reports on the Edo State APC governorship primaries from Sen. Ajibola Bashiru.

There were speculations, on Tuesday, that the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, had ordered a seal-off of the National Secretariat of the APC.
But Mr. Etta insisted the Force Public Relations officer, Frank Mba, had cleared the air on the issue to the contrary.
He also introduced Worgu Boms as National Deputy Secretary of the party.
