APC chieftain resigns post, quits party in Delta

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State has lost the vice-chairman, of its caretaker committee, Chief George Okafor.
Okafor did not only resign from his post, he also quit the party because he believes that the state APC has been engulfed by perennial crisis with no hope for resolution.
In his resignation letter, which was copied to the Chairman of APC Ward 3, Caretaker Committee, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Okafor wrote: “I hereby tender my resignation from the position of Chairman, APC Delta North Caretaker Committee effective today, Wednesday, June 22, 2021.
“By this notice, I also want to denounce my membership of the APC henceforth.”
