Anambra State FA has endorsed the maiden edition of Brainbox league.
Brainbox league is the brain child of Brainbox Sports Foundation and National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
Chairman of Anambra FA, Chikelue Iloenyosi while commending the initiative said the FA would continue to partner every stakeholder that comes up with laudable ideas that can move Anambra football forward.
“I want to commend the Brainbox Sports Foundation for coming up with the event. We will continue to encourage and partner stakeholders who come up with ideas and projects that can take Anambra football to greater heights,” Iloenyosi said.
The Brainbox league would kick off on May 6 at the Awka City Stadium.
Organisers of the league disclosed that winners of the league would pocket N3m. There are also mouthwatering prizes for best player, best coach and best goalkeeper. Interestingly, all the registered team would also smile home with N200,000.
