Operation ZENDA Joint Task Force, in Benue State, has arrested a 37-year-old woman for allegedly having 317 live ammunition illegally in possession, which is a significant development in the war against criminality.
The arrest was verified, on Tuesday, in Makurdi, the state capital, by SP Felix Nomiyugh, the commander of Operation ZENDA. The suspect was arrested at Ayati Junction in Benue State’s Ukum Local Government Area.
The woman is thought to be connected to a well-known bandit who operates in the local government area, according to SP Nomiyugh, which raises more questions about criminal activity in the region.
