Visa Restriction latest: US plans Mandatory exit date for visitors

Not minding the hue and cry that trailed the visa restrictions imposed by the American Government on Nigerians, the US Embassy has released a new regulations for intending visitors to that country.

Henceforth, the US Homeland Security will provide a Mandatory exit date for visitors, which implies that the foreigner must depart the United States of America on the said date.

A copy of the new regulation was uploaded on Twitter by Nigerian activist, Kayode Ogundamisi, and retrieved by The Nigerian Xpress.

It further stated that if any traveler fails to leave America on the mandatory exit date, the visa of such foreigner might be revoked.

The notice below:

“Upon arrival in the United States, the Department of Homeland Security will provide you with a mandatory exit date by which you must depart the country.

“The entry stamp will have the word ‘Admitted’ with the date you arrived and underneath will be the visa clarification along with the date you must depart

“Failure to do so could result in your visa being revoked and for your deportation from the United States.”
