Senate President Ahmed Lawan, on Wednesday, during the screening of a former Governor of Benue State, Sen. George Akume, on the floor of the Red Chamber, urged the nominee to lead the vanguard of a robust and harmonious relationship between the legislature and the Executive arms of government in the country.

The Senate president’s comment came after some senators had urged the Rec Chamber to allow Sen. Akume, a former colleagues of theirs, to take a bow and not be subjected to any questions from the floor.
