Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), on Friday, whisked away the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, upon his arrival in Abuja from India.
El-Zakzaky had earlier arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, together with his wife, Zeenate.
Men of the DSS had prevented journalists and some of his supporters from having access to him.

It was gathered that immediately the Ethiopian Airlines flight conveying El-Zakzaky and his wife touched down, the security operatives drove an ambulance to the tarmac and picked them up.
They were said to have been taken through the presidential wing of the airport to an unknown destination.
