Some unknown gunmen have killed a female student of College of Education, Billiri in Gombe, Yosi Yusuf, at her off-campus residence.
This was going barely 48 hours after the gruesome murder of a 58-year-old mother of 8 children, Aishatu Abdullahi, by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
The female student was reportedly killed in the early hours of Sunday at Zazzagawa quarters, in Billiri.
The deceased was a third-year student of National Certificate in Education, NCE, and hailed from Baganje Town in Billiri LGA.
ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, spokesperson of the Gombe State Police Command confirmed the incident, adding that that an investigation had commenced to identify and arrest the killers.

Also, Abubakar, the Command spokesperson, in a press statement he issued to Journalists on Sunday, confirmed the arrest but did not give further information on the number of suspects arrested and how the arrest was made.
The late Aishatu Abdullahi was gruesomely slaughtered in her residence in Jekadafari Quarters of Gombe metropolis by suspected armed robbers, who went away with her mobile phone.
Also, Abubakar, the Command spokesperson, in a press statement he issued to Journalists on Sunday, confirmed the arrest but did not give further information on the number of suspects arrested and how the arrest was made.
