The police in Ogun State says it has arrest of one Lekan Odusote, 27, and Monday John, 22, who allegedly killed a commercial motorcyclist popularly called Okada rider, stole his bike and buried him in a shallow grave.
The suspects, who allegedly carried out the heinous act on the yet-to-be identified okada rider, also reportedly sold the motorcycle for N120,000.
A statement issued, in Abeokuta, on Wednesday, by the police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the two suspects lured the motorcyclist to Ikangba area of Obalende in Ijebu-Ode where they killed him and took his corpse to an uncompleted building, dug a shallow grave and buried him.
He said the DPO, Obalende Division, Sunday Omonijo, dispatched his detectives who apprehended the two suspects.

Oyeyemi said that the suspects took police operatives to the uncompleted building where the victim was buried, adding that the corpse has been recovered and taken to the mortuary for post mortem examination.
Upon interrogation, they confessed to have lured an okada man to an isolated area where they killed him and took possession of the motorcycle which they sold, and the sharing formula of the proceed caused disagreement between them,” Oyeyemi said. He added that the Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
