Two labourers fell into deep well in Ekiti community

Two young labourers fell into a very deep well in Anaye village, in Emure Local Government Area of Ekiti State on Sunday morning, and were sent into early graves.
The deceased, two, identified as  Foluso Ajayi aka vosco and a young Ebira man popularly called Alhaji in Emure community, were labourers hired by a yet-to-be identified man who has a farm in Anaye village.
The Nigerian Xpress, gathered that one of the deceased, had attempted to retrieve his cell phone which fell into the well, while fetching some water to cook.

” He fell into the well and couldn’t return and we guess his partner had also attempted to save his colleague when he also fell into the well and died,” the man who pleaded anonymity, said.
The Nigerian Xpress, witnessed how some five hired Hausa men  brought up the bodies of the two men. The Hausa men had to tie ropes on their necks before drawing their bodies out of the deep well .
Asked how deep the well was?  A middle aged man in the community said it would be about 16 rings deep.
Meanwhile, policemen attached to the Emure divisional police station, have gone to retrieve the deceased’s bodies and commenced investigations into the incident.
