Tribunal nullifies election of PDP lawmaker in Osun

The election of Bamidele Salam, the lawmaker representing Ede federal constituency, in the House of Representatives, has been nullified by the election petition tribunal in Osogbo, Osun state.

The decision of the tribunal on the election of Salam, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), came on Monday, September 2.

Ruling that there was over-voting during elections in four local government areas, the tribunal annulled the results of the polls and ordered a rerun.
