Officials of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Plateau State chapter, have congratulated Governor Simon Lalong over his recent victory at the Tribunal.
ADP chairman in the state, Mr. Gideon Adamu, and the state’s Publicity Secretary of the party, Danjuma Auta, in a press release, jointly signed by them, on Thursday, said the governor deserved the verdict of the election tribunal.
The release read in part, “We congratulate the acclaimed winner, His. Excellency Barr. Simon Bako Lalong over his victory at the pool and the tribunal.”
The party stalwarts, however, charged Governor Lalong to fulfill all promises made to the electorates during electioneering.

“We are calling on the governor of the state, Simon Bako Lalong to fulfill his promises of all inclusive governance.”
On the frequent overseas journeys the governor had reportedly embarked upon, they cautioned Governor Lalong to focus on people-oriented programmes.
It stressed that, “We calling on the governor to as a matter of urgency settle down and remain in the state so as to address major areas of governance the state needed at this time.”
The ADP in Plateau State also challenged the governor to prioritise education.
“ADP is also calling on the government to work hard in the area of education by making sure that our schools in the state are made comfortable for learning and ensure adequate provision of the school materials to all institutions of learning.”
