Tinubu’s legal team’s explanation of PEPT CTC desperate attempt to dispel public scrutiny – PDP

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has faulted the explanation of the legal team of President Bola Tinubu as regards why the Certified True Copies of the judgement of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) bore its inscription.
Mr. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, said in a statement in Abuja on Monday his party had examined the inscription of the header of TPLT on the CTC and concluded that the president’s legal team had indicted itself by admitting that it scanned and watermarked its copy of the judgment with the inscription, “Tinubu Presidential Legal Team ‘TPLT’.

The statement read in part: “The rush by the TPLT in admitting that it imprinted on the CTC of the judgment smacks of a desperate attempt to dispel public scrutiny and ward off the possibility of more revelations regarding the issue.
“The PDP and indeed majority of Nigerians are not satisfied with the claims by the TPLT.”
