Presidential aspirant and National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has tasked President Muhammadu Buhari on the need to stop the wanton destruction of lives in Nigeria immediately.
Speaking on Tuesday after visiting the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, over the recent spate of banditry in the state, the former Lagos State governor said such terrorist acts would no longer be condoned.

Tinubu donated N50 million to victims of the train attack and also visited those injured in the hospital where they are receiving treatment.
In a tweet Tinubu said: “The recent attacks and killings by terrorist groups in whatever form is no longer acceptable and must stop.
“I urge the Federal and State governments to work even more closely together to wipe out this menace.
El-Rufai had told Tinubu during the visit that though he was in the know about his presidential ambition, he was looking unto God to choose the best leader for the country in 2023.

The governor, apparently taking a swipe at President Buhari, lauded Tinubu for his visit, saying he had displayed a leadership quality.
This is unlike Buhari, who has not visited the state despite the rising spate of violent attacks, killings and kidnapping.
Nigerians have frequently come under vicious attacks by terrorists and bandits. Kaduna State is the worst hit and only recently a train conveying over 300 passengers was bombed by the terrorists, resulting in many casualties, including the dead, wounded and abducted, who are yet to be accounted for.
