Tinubu, Kwankwaso meet behind closed doors in Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, met with a former Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
Kwankwaso who was the flagbearer of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in last February’s Presidential election, arrived at the Aso Rock Villa minutes around 05:30pm.

Both men discussed Kwankwaso’s potential involvement in the new administration as Tinubu’s ‘government of national unity’ takes shape.
This means offering critical opposition figures a place in his government.
Friday’s meeting may also feature issues around the election of the legislative leaders ahead of the June 13 inauguration of the 10th National Assembly
