President Bola Tinubu is currently in Cotonou, the capital of Republic of Benin, to attend the 63rd independence anniversary of the country.
Tinubu, who arrived Tuesday morning, was received by President Patrice Talon and some top government officials.

The President was accompanied by Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos); Seyi Makinde (Oyo); AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq (Kwara); Nasir Idris (Kebbi) and Mohammed Umar Bago (Niger).
