President Bola Tinubu has just arrived Lagos State, where he will spend his Christmas and New Year holidays.
This was after presenting a budget of N47.9 trillion to a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.
At the airport to receive the president in Lagos were Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members.
Tinubu’s plane landed at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
It is not clear whether the president will spend his holidays in his Bourdillon home, Ikoyi or State House, Marina.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government is expected to declare Wednesday and Thursday next week as Public Holidays for the celebration of Christmas and Boxing Day respectively, while another holiday will be declared on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 to celebrate the New Year.
