President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of five individuals to the Media & Publicity Directorate within the Office of the President. Notably, Fela Durotoye, the former presidential candidate of the ANN, has been named Senior Special Assistant to the President for National Values & Social Justice.
Additionally, Fredrick Nwabufo will take on the role of Senior Special Assistant to the President for Public Engagement, while Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for Strategic Communications.
Aliyu Audu, a chieftain of the governing party APC will serve as the Special Assistant to the President for Public Affairs, and Francis Adah Abah will assume the position of Personal Assistant to the President for Special Duties.
Additionally, President Tinubu has approved the secondment of Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe, who will serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission. In a statement by presidential spokesperson, AJURI Ngelale, Tinubu tasked the new appointees to maintain the highest standards of decorum and decency as they engage with the public.
