Human Rights activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Femi Falana has accompanied President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero to the police headquarters as the labour leader honoured the invitation to answer allegations of terrorism financing among others.
The police in early August had invited Ajaero for questioning on allegations of financing terrorist groups after raiding the NLC office in the night but the NLC president requested another date for appearance.
However, on Thursday morning legal counsel to the union, Femi Falana, Maxwell Opara and Deji Adeyanju led Ajaero to the police headquarters.
Other members of the union who wanted to join the delegation were told to stay behind with assurance from Ajaero that the situation would be handled well by the team.
