Tanzanian president seeks prayers to end COVID-19, vows to reopen schools, churches, others

Tanzanian president, John Magufuli, says there was no need to continue to place churches, schools and sports on lockdown on account of the Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world today.

To the end, the president said he would reopen schools, sports leagues this week and that tourists into the country would not be quarantined.

He said their testing kits for COVID-19 were fake since pawpaw, goat and birds tested positive.

He urged people to go to church to pray against the disease.
