Synod charges believers to learn from political development in Zamfara

Believers have been urged to learn from the recent political development in Zamfara state which shows that power belongs to God only.
This advise was given by the  Bishop of the Gusau Diocese (Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev. John Garba Danbinta at the 2nd Session of the 7th Synod of the Diocese held at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Gusau.

The Bishop who is the President of the Synod while speaking on the theme of the  synod ‘why worry’ (Psalms 94:14), described the recent political development in Zamfara state which brought in Governor Bello Mohammed as a true manifestation of the power of God.
“I want politicians to know that nothing is permanent in life. In view of that, I am advising politicians to use their offices to promote freedom of worship, peace, justice and equity”, he said.
